Smells...

I am a psychology major at a small college in the middle of nowhere.
This year I am taking my major major class in which I have to compose and complete an experiment.
My topic is odors and perception.
I love studying smells,
but I didn't realize quite how interesting they are.
Upon studying I found that everyone gives off a certain smell because of various hormones.
Everyone has a different smell.
Think of people who are from a different culture and they each have their own smell,
it is easier to decipher the smells of those from other countries.
Anyways,
I found that some people can wear certain perfumes that smell good on them while smelling horrid on other people.
This is why there can be so many perfumes and everyone likes to wear different ones.
I have a friend who has a certain smell of deodorant or shampoo that they use and I think they always smell great.
One day I smelled someone else wearing the same smell,
but on them it smelled too strong and too sweet,
it made me sick.
So strange how smells can change depending on the person.
