Who is Wesley...

Last year,
I would go to the Student Support Center.
Not because I needed help,
but because I just wanted to have someone to talk to.
So anyways,
every time I would go there,
there would be writing on the board that said "Hudson is fat" or "Michael is fat".
Whenever I asked about it,
they would tell me,
"It was Wesley."
Ok,
I never met any Wesleys' and I go to a pretty small school.
So after some time,
I figured that they wrote it to each other and made up this 'Wesley' character.
Then one day,
I went to the room and there was this new guy there.
I asked what his name was,
and he said,
"Wesley!"
It was crazy.
He did exist.

We are different people...

So,
whenever I tell people I have a twin,
they say:

And I reply,
"Yeah I guess so."
But then they meet her and they say,
"Whoa! Ya'll look nothing alike!"
Just because we are twins does not mean we are the same person.
And goodness gracious,
no we don't both want the same thing to eat.
Just because I hate hiking does not mean she hates hiking!
Just because she hates country music does not mean I hate it!
We are different people.
We were just lucky enough to have been born at the same time.
Yeah we are best friends.
Be jealous.

Pass the cheese please...

My friends are rather cheesy.
Especially Bec and Kail.
I never thought that I would be a cheesy person.
But looks like I am.
Oh well.

Advice...

I love getting advice from people.
Not because I like to follow it,
but because I like trying to figure out how it's wrong.
I know that is kind of weird.
But typically when people give me advice,
I go and do the exact opposite of what was suggested.
And I usually end up worse off.
I think that this is eventually going to set in and I will follow good advice.
But until then,
I am going to continue being stubborn.
It's hard to know what advice is good and what is bad.
Especially when I get opposite advice from people that I love.
In that case I have to chose to listen to one or the other.
And then I feel awful about it.
Too bad I'm not a robot.
Then I would be pretty consistent.
I mean no feelings or emotions means no disappointments,
right?
Oh well,
bring on the advice.
We shall see what happens.

Something new...

Kail really wanted to go to the pretty Episcopal church.
I told her I would go with her.
We went in and I thought that the place was going to fill up.
So I led our group to the front and sat three seats away from the speaker.
Kail asked why we were so close.
I responded,
"We are right in front of the speaker!"
The service started shortly after.
We had no clue what to do.
I had to keep turning around during the service to see if we were to stand, sit, or kneel.
There were nine other people in the congregation.
Our group almost doubled their normal attendance.
I kept laughing during the service because I didn't know what to do.
During the prayer,
this man in the choir snorted really loudly,
and I just lost it.
It wasn't that the snort was gross,
it was that the snort sounded like a laugh,
and the part of the prayer was quite serious.
The priest spoke on Nathaniel,
but he went down an extreme rabbit trail about people going to Hell,
and then he said "but that's besides the point" and attempted to bring us back to the topic.
He had a great sound affect,
he said "and then whhhhiiiiiiiiissssssskkkkkk they are in hell."
Some of the songs we sang were so hard to sing because the organ was playing one tune,
but the choir was off in some other pitchland.
Then we got to communion.
I was getting really nervous during the whole service because I was sure I would mess up communion somehow.
Thankfully this little old lady shuffled down the aisle so she could go in front of us and show us what to do.
When the service was over,
all the people came and greeted us.
It was really a sweet church.

Kail is lame...

Kailagh has probably informed me of how lame she is about twice a day since the first of January.
It's kind of funny because she takes a super long nap everyday.
And afterwards she always says that she is lame for not doing anything.
But she isn't lame.
She's just crazy.
I love my friends.

"aaaaaaaaaaaaaa, I'm the lamest person in the whole world"

to lose...

I have always been good at card games.
When I was little,
I would let the other people win so that they would play me again.
Now,
I have a losing complex.
I don't like to lose.
So I typically tell others that I am really good,
just so they will be intimidated and off their game.
But recently,
it has been evident that people don't like to play cards with me.
I'm not really that good at cards,
I just have a strategy that seems to work for me.
Ugh.

Great beginnings...

How my new year began:
Yesterday I went to Michaels and bought some string.
The total came to $3.28.
I gave the lady $3.38.
The lady looked at me as if I was crazy.
I told her that I wanted even change.
And she gave me this blank stare and said "but it's only $3.28".
At this point I thought she was just stupid,
so I kindly asked her to just type it in.
She said,
"ok".
And then my sister said,
"she does this all the time,
we don't know why."
When I left,
I realized that I had given the girl a dime,
and she just gave it back to me after typing it in.
Looks like I'm the idiot.

Later I was driving and for some reason I have gotten worse at driving.
In this case,
practice makes horrible.
It seems the more I drive,
the worse I get.

I came back to school yesterday.
And I was greeted by my dear friends.
We all went out to eat and it was delicious.
Not as good as Taco Bell,
but good nonetheless.

That's pretty much it.

It's a new year...

2011 was a good year.
It turned out to be much better than I expected.
I can only imagine how I will be surprised in 2012.
Happy new year to all.
I can only hope your year will be the best ever.
But I guess its really more of how you approach the year.
So check your attitude!
Ha.
