Cheeks...

My friend Cheeks loves to smile and wave at people.
The problem is that her timing is all wrong.
She will try to wave and smile at people but they would have looked away or not even be looking at her at all.
This weekend,
she tried to smile and wave to this sweet old man sitting behind us.
He just stared in her general direction while she sat there smiling and waving.
It was hilarious.
Once she was in the cafeteria and a girl she didn't know very well said "Hey Cheeks!",
she was walking with a visiting student at the time.
Cheeks was so excited she waved her hand while she was holding her water bottle,
the lid wasn't secure so it flew off in the girl's direction.
She was quite embarrassed.
